Today I picked up the timber for my latest project. This is an interesting one. I am making a made to measure bench using timber from the One Oak project. The tree was felled in the Blenheim estate last February and was then planked in about April by the guys at Deep In Wood. Here is James pulling the boards that I reserved out of the stack.
I didn’t have time to take a good look at the boards but they should be fine. The two thin boards will be part seasoned, while the thicker one is going to be pretty much green.
